The Hudson Village Theatre was founded in 1993, as a professional English language performing arts venue and theatre company offering a diverse selection of year-round programs that, through excellence, aim to inspire, enlighten and entertain. It is housed in Hudson’s historic train station in the heart of this delightful village located on the south shore of the Lake of Two Mountains.
Hudson Village Theatre is a charming 148 seat fully air-conditioned theatre which still looks like (and serves as) a train station but with an interior that has been amazingly transformed. The lobby bar and box office is in the old baggage room and the theatre, serving patrons year round, has excellent sight lines and acoustics. Hudson Village Theatre is a first place winner in the category of Exceptional Community Involvement at the West Island Chamber of Commerce annual Gala des Accolades in 2006 was a finalist in the 7 Merveilles de Vaudreuil-Soulanges competition in the category of Ambassador of the Region.
